(c)
Any conditions in the arena that are abnormal, e.g. Broken glass, broken door hinge on players' bench, any vandalism
(d)
Any serious injuries should be reported on the reverse of the Rink Duty Report form. Advise the coach to fill out a Hockey Canada Injury report form if the injury requires further medical attention.
(e)
Make sure that your name is printed at the top of the Rink Duty Report form and sign your name at the bottom of the report before submitting it to the arena staff at the end of your shift.
(f)
Return the clipboard and Rink Duty vest to the arena office.
*Rink Duty reports will be forwarded with game sheets to the MHL Office for review and record maintenance. Associations will be notified of any missed Rink Duty sessions.

4. Make sure the teams are out of the dressing rooms, to start the games on time.
THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT.
Also make sure teams/players go directly to dressing rooms and act as a control between opposing players/teams (specifically when teams enter and exit the ice surface).

5. If a player is seriously injured, make sure his coach/player receives a Hockey Canada Injury Report. Upon completion, the parent should take this form to the hospital/dentist for the medical report to be filled in then the form is returned to the MHL Office.

6. Assist the rink personnel during a fire alarm.

7. Watch the EXIT doors, to make sure there is no illegal entry to the arena.

8. Assist the game officials in disciplinary measures relating to the game. This means to escort any coaches/players to the appropriate area or escort any spectator out of the arena.
PLEASE DO NOT become involved in any physical or verbal confrontation with any coach/parent/spectator/player. If an individual who has been ejected from the arena refuses to leave please do not attempt to physically remove them. Notify the individual that the POLICE will be called to escort them out of the facility if they do not leave. (If the police are required to be called, please inform the arena supervisor).

9. Print and Sign your name at bottom of the Rink Duty report to make report valid. Please print clearly.

10. Leave the clipboard, jacket and all completed forms at the ticket office when your duty ends.
