Gala Report
Winterfest 2007 was very successful, raising in excess of $8,000 that will be used to help run the association next season. Approximately 270 guests attended, enjoying an excellent meal, an exciting live auction and a large silent auction. An excellent D.J. ensured the dance floor was packed to the very end!
Thanks to Le Treport for their usual fine job in the preparation of our meal and to one of our team sponsors, CLS Catering, for the donation of the sweet table. Thanks also to John Pointet for donating the lovely flowers and to all the teams for donating wonderful items for the silent auction and door prizes.
Thanks also to another sponsor, Davis+Henderson,
for donating the Registration Raffle prizes, which were drawn at the dance.
The winner of four Raptors tickets was Matthew Morresi, (M. Bantam Blue).
The winner of the four Leafs tickets was Luke Romano (Atom Green). Congratulations!
I want to express my appreciation to all the volunteers, board members
and guests who helped make this a great evening. We hope to see many more
of our parents enjoying this annual event next year!
